Program Details
EVESE-II is dedicated to understanding performance and efficiency of energy storage systems and EV powertrains. It builds on more than a decade of pre-competitive research. EVESE-II will continue battery cell research established during the first edition of EVESE. It will expand its focus on providing critical test data and insights in modules and packs, including improved thermal management though immersion cooling and safety improvement through modeling and simulation, supported by full-scale abuse testing.
