Summary

Southwest Research Institute is a pioneer in microencapsulation techniques used to ensure delivery of active ingredients for a variety of industries from pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, food, cosmetics, consumer products, agriculture and for paints, coatings and other industrial applications. In this webinar, Dr. James Oxley, an Institute Scientist with decades of experience conducting microencapsulation R&D, introduces encapsulation morphologies, how and why microencapsulation is used, general encapsulation characteristics, processes, formulations, and release mechanisms. 

The one-hour webinar is intended for scientists, engineers, or business professionals interested in learning about encapsulation, controlled-release, its benefits/limitations, and what questions to consider when evaluating encapsulation as a technology for solving new or existing formulation challenges. SwRI offers an in-person Introduction to Microencapsulation workshop twice per year.
