In this webinar, Dr. James Oxley, an Institute Scientist with decades of experience conducting microencapsulation R&D, introduces encapsulation morphologies, how and why microencapsulation is used, general encapsulation characteristics, processes, formulations, and release mechanisms. 

The one-hour webinar is intended for scientists, engineers, or business professionals interested in learning about encapsulation, controlled-release, its benefits/limitations, and what questions to consider when evaluating encapsulation as a technology for solving new or existing formulation challenges. SwRI offers an in-person Introduction to Microencapsulation workshop twice per year.
